The problem

Signs of an electrical problem

Electrical faults hide well. That's why a lot of shops send them away.

The battery keeps dying, even after a new one.
Lights dim or flicker, or the dash lights up with warnings.
Windows, locks or the radio stop working, or the car won't start.
A car instrument cluster lit up
Diagnostic scanner plugged in under a car dashboard
How we fix it

What happens at the shop

We follow the fault to its source instead of swapping parts.

We scan the car's electronic systems and test the battery and charging.
We trace the wiring, alternator, starter or module that's causing it.
You get the price before any work starts, then we fix it.

Fixed the same day, when we can

One driver's alternator gave out just as they were pulling away. Here's what happened next:

I never write reviews, but feel the need to write one here. Took my 2017 wrangler in for alignment after just installing a 4 inch suspension superlift and anyone who has raised Jeep’s or trucks know that the steering is about 90 degrees off until you get it aligned. They took me right away when other places I called said they were booked for a few weeks. Everything went off without hitch and took them about 30 minutes tops. As I was pulling out, my alternator went - as it was in its way out before I even rolled into their shop - and were able to have the new alternator and battery sent within minutes and installed in about an hour. If you are military make sure you go to these guys because they are still in the service and they give HUGE military discount, and if not military you need to go because they don’t screw around, understand the importance of your time, pay attention to detail, and have unbeatable prices on labor. Overall I cannot express my gratitude to these dudes and will be taking my families cars there moving forward.

There is a great place. They are so friendly and I think a fair price. The only thing I don’t like is that they open only 9 am…

Questions

Car electrical repair questions

What people ask before they pull in.

How much does car electrical repair cost?

It depends on the fault. A $50 diagnostic starts it, and you get the price before any work starts.

Why does my battery keep dying?

It could be the battery, the alternator not charging it, or something draining it while the car is off. We test all three.

Do you replace alternators and starters?

Yes. We test them first so you only replace what's failed.

What does it cost to find out what's wrong?

A diagnostic scan is $50. We tell you what we find and price the repair before any work starts.

Do I need an appointment?

No. We're walk-in only, first come, first served, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 8am to 4pm. Closed Sunday.

Can I spread the cost?

Yes. We take cash, cards, Zelle and Apple Pay, and you can spread a bigger bill with Affirm or Acima.

Electrical gremlins? Walk in.

Walk in Monday to Saturday, or call and talk to someone at the counter.
